Function and handling (5 stars):
The adjustment of eye relief is intended stiff and prevents inadvertent changes. The sharpness control (Central wheel) is tight and has no play, so nothing more can be after adjustment of the sharpness. The zoom lever is handily and is more smoothly to position, but then maintains its position. The Okularabdeckungen are from quality plastic and have a secure fit. All in all, there is nothing to complain about.
Optical function (5 stars):
The Olympus impresses with a bright, high-contrast image, the edges are bright and also sharp. Thus, a large bright sharp and very good usable image, still good to use at dusk and even at almost dark the image is still reasonably good results.
Zoom function (4 stars):
After zooming, the focus has to be slightly readjusted - this is not a problem and probably tech. conditionally. With increasing max. Zoom (16x) loses the Olympus but on color and sharpness. Then the adjusted +/- correction value on the eyepiece does not operate properly. This effect is only in the last quarter really noticeable and probably due to the zoom function. In practice, 16x Zoom can be used only in the short term anyway, because there 'wobbles' image but significantly and the observation is exhausting.
Accessories (5 stars):
Bag and strap are functional and very good quality.
Conclusion:
Yet powerful compact binoculars with very good price / performance ratio.
