My pain is gone since I moved to this mouse and it was almost immediate (one or two days max). The angle helps relieve damaged tendons and I have no problems thumb either. (Note: as soon as I return to my regular mouse instantly back pain).
The next and previous buttons are very convenient and also hand rests. The buttons are well positioned and the grip is nice (hand size S / 8).
I put "only" 4 stars because although the vertical position is, I absolutely do not specify with this mouse. I still manage to work on my 3D software, but more slowly. I do not know if the accuracy will come with time (I use it for 15 days).
For people with the same problems as me and working on 3D software, I recommend this mouse 3D mouse together with a kind spacemouse (for the left hand) 3Dconnexion: it avoids utlise the scroll and feel is great to position themselves properly before the room.
