We have to say goodbye to our washing machine and almost simultaneously by our 17-years old dryer for about 20 years, neither of AEG, but the German premium manufacturer of such devices. From an ecological point we opted for units pack of AEG, which were significantly cheaper than devices of competitors. Thanks to a 5-year warranty period in Norway both devices after 4 or 4 1/2 years have been repaired free of charge. However, I had the devices themselves to 50km distant service centers bring and pick up again - the loss of earnings equivalent to almost the original price of a unit, but may AEG nothing. One year after the repair of the dryer went again to its knees. The first concerned the defect heating. After replacing the part, the device still worked less than a year before it went on strike again. This time I decided not to repair and invested in a new unit of the above-mentioned unnamed premium manufacturer. The AEG-dryer, I have, since the new error supposedly a trifle - a torn drive belt and I can use a dryer for the house. In a workshop, the repair is however priceless because the device needs to be almost completely dismantled. The washing machine, top model of the company AEG, makes the year 1 after the warranty time again Zicken and after her death no longer be repaired.
AEG - cheaper than the premium car manufacturer, but cheaper is not certainly.
