After over 7 months of use with my little red thing 4Sle has not taken off. This shell is impeccable, do not foul, do not scratch. It is thinner and more rigid than another "rubbery" I had for my 3G, and I think that a shock would be less well damped (while doubting that a fall on tiles or condoned by 0.5 mm additional rubber). My previous hull was ribbed and clogged up. It is smooth and clean.
