I use batteries very regularly and dispose of appropriately high quality chargers, in order to ensure long battery life. Again and again, however, there is the problem of self-discharge during storage even with NiMH. However, some devices such as my digital camera does not work with partially discharged batteries. Despite numerous, expensive well-maintained batteries I therefore had to fall back repeatedly on batteries for such devices. No drama, but for a battery-Fan a nuisance. With the Sanyo eneloops the issue has now been settled. Even after a couple of weeks the batteries are still perfectly - even with "sophisticated" equipment such as my digital camera - top'm satisfied. Highly recommended. The indication of Ah true (which is quite rare in batteries yes - most manufacturers provide 70-80% of the specified values in real operation). A note yet: I've heard that the batteries are not resistant to high current. In the flash of my camera is not a problem - but who needs this property in batteries, should be informed in more detail and possibly consider other types into consideration.
