2.0 Headset with plastic scary but ultimately take (due to my experience of the X12)
I use it on PC with BF4 particular, the implementation requires a USB to power and a jack.
Spatialization is still good (for FPS), although we realize that the sound for music listening
slightly veiled, notable particularly in the high end, but nothing too bad and the definition is pretty good.
And it is rather neutral, bass boost to nuts, you are free to add more serious by the wheel.
The headphone amp is quiet and very nice settings (I always prefer to remove low fps)
No saturation or distortion during explosions.
After several tests with this headset 7.1 (and external sound card), I remain client 2.0 which avoids the sound reproduction
with embarrassing reverb, and it does not stop to hear the enemy behind.
I tested the 7.1 with a Corsair Vengeance 1500 v2 also, and for me it's the 7.1-dressing, I prefer the side
Live from 2.0! (And I sold the corsair).
Comfort is always very good, helping the lightness of the helmet.
Negative points:
- I did not expect it but the remote is rather impressive (compared to the X12) and wire the long and beefy in
output for PC connection, if that is not very suitable for handling and placement.
- The price, for simple evolution of X12, it is 30 more, and for me it is not justified. (I paid the PX22, 65 in nov2013)
If you are just standard currency, the X12 will be good enough.
Note: It has been made an effort on the packaging, blister but not a box, it is always appreciated.
