Have to decide after the miserable Kaspersky 2008 again this year for KIS 2013. Actually, only for the reason that at the expiration of my Norton Norton license its NIS 2013 not yet had on the market. So I ordered the KIS 2013 which was used to quickly sent to Amazon. Before installing I have the removal tool downloaded at Norton and cleans your computer of all the Norton products. Then be disconnected the network connection, because without security program connected to the Internet, should not be done. Then, the Brand new KIS 2013 installed from the CD. After restarting the network connection again plugged in, registered product and diligently pulled updates. After full system scan completed without abnormalities. Everything okay. The red Kaspersky "K" will appear in the tray. Hardly system load during idling.
After several hours, the "K" is suddenly announces gray and the system that Kaspersky was removed from memory. Huh? I beg your pardon? At the same time want to upload 148 MB of data on the server Kaspersky. Why is that, I wondered?
Now I can with computers quite good deal and have googled. Lo and behold, the problem has been around since 2008. I therefore the Kaspersky forum and described my problem. They told me that it was with the version of the program problems are (nothing new at Kaspersky) and I should download the latest version from the server, and I should note that there disassembly and installation instructions. Ok. The Forum With all due respect. But since I have paid for a brand new product, I turned to the support. There you but told me the same thing.
The problem is that when the "K" turns gray, the protection is disabled until the next system startup. So I quickly switched between a router, at least to have a firewall and always keep the "K" in the eye.
Of course I will do a devil and me awkward not uninstall functioning versions, and then load a new version of Kaspersky down, then perhaps what is good. I paid for the product and want it to work without any problems. What do customers, this familiar not so good with computers? That is not reasonable.
I have the new Norton Internet Security ordered here on Amazon in 2013 and will then Kaspersky occur for all times in the garbage where it belongs.
It is an insult to the customer to deliver an obvious yet to release taugendes product, only to bring its product to market before competitors.
Norton has done his homework for years. Kaspersky has still four years old mistakes on board.
