The spacer (standoffs) for ATX motherboards are already connected to the housing, tiresome screwing therefore inoperative. The constituent assembly goes smoothly by hand. Corsair in many places on tool-free installation via large thumb screws or special mounting mechanisms in the 5.25 "bays, which facilitates assembly. On the back of the case offers lots of space for clean cable management, thus also an optimum air flows and an attractive to ensure appearance of the build in the interior, which can be assessed at any time through the large window in the side panel .. a little show-off may then be yet;.)
The fans something was saved. Instead of the retail version of the famous AF140 / 120 case fan variant AF140L / 120L is used, which quite clearly stands out with the lack of color rings and bright fan blades of the familiar design. The fans are as 3pin variant on board and are therefore for Silent fans not a real option, an exchange BeQuiets with PWM control (2x 140mm front, 140mm 2x ceiling and 1x 120mm rear) for me was an inevitable upgrade to the to keep Case volume moderate in check or to enable controllability over the mainboard. The Airflow is exalted by the generous fan assembly of course beyond doubt. Graphics cards and CPU get shoveled while the ceiling fan convey the heat without long detours outside and so for a high air flow and thus ensure low temperatures inside the housing through the front fan plenty of air.
All is all, the 450d for the price a very solid, visually appealing Case with sophisticated features (SSD mounts on the back, sliding HDD cage, etc.). From my side a very strong buy recommendation!
