All chic, everything is new - first conclusion to Pokémon Y

If you have been waiting for a video game, in particular one of the one promises a lot, it is under very difficult constructively to judge, due to the many new impressions. Nevertheless, I want to set up here a first, brief conclusion to make easier its decision to the one or other (protenziellen) buyers.

POSITIVE

In optics, there are clearly really only pluses.
This is finally the first thing one really stands out when you push the cartridge for the first time in its 3DS and the game starts. All the characters, whether passer or the protagonist even have to get proper 3D models - just like each of the now more than 700 Pokemon. One quickly realizes that the developers have really given some thought and a lot of work in the graphical implementation. The models of Pokemon are clear and not muddy, there are many animations and for the first time show the Pokemon also correct responses during the fight. They grimace when they are hit, recoil or make ready for battle. Very nicely put!
See the Pokemon in my eyes even so good, that I, now find themselves Pokemon, which I absolutely could not get anything interesting before. The colors are clear and defined - at least mostly. In some places, but one or the other matschigere texture comes through, but that what is really important looks great.
And before I forget - the camera work is a dream. Something that previously was not there, let alone possible. Time the camera is slightly above the character, sometimes just behind or in front of him. You can see everything well, comes in to fully enjoy the surroundings.
And that without any funny business.

For the story and all around it can not and will not say anything here, so I'll go right to the other smaller things over, to whom I can say something.

For example, the Feauture PokemonAmi.
This is basically an opportunity to play with one of his Pokemon smaller minigames to increase the affection - which many Pokemon is beneficial particularly in the development. The mini-games are in my eyes only an entertaining pastime in between. PokemonAmi is not a must, it can be used optional. I can still imagine that may have so that one or the other permanent fun :)

What is also very commendable, are very time-developed online functions. The Player Search System, briefly PSS is easy to use and allows one in a very short time to play via the Internet with other players around the world.
For example, I have fought against a Japanese woman and had a lot of fun. All this of course runs over the Internet, the settings for this are carried out quickly.
One can not only fight, but also swap or special powers to send the game to increase again.
Big plus, because by the PSS and I finally got a taste of online battles and will use it in the future certainly extensive. Otherwise I have made to the online features of Pokémon editions a bow.

What also quite nice and for me is definitely noteworthy, is the ability to customize and clothe his character individually.
That was a point that I had wished already more often in recent editions. Clothing, hair cut / color ... everything is possible.
A nice new feature that also gets quite a lot of attention, but does not impose. Generally, there are many beautiful smaller innovations. The menus are now correctly intuitive and easier to use, Pokemon are swapped using drag & drop in the Team and saving even takes a second :)

And do not last the soundtrack. The music has jumped on me after a few moments to square one.
Super nicely done, more rocking and dynamic - listen and be convinced!

NEGATIVE

In addition to all the positive impressions already two negative things I have now noticed that bother me personally already.
Once the control of the protagonist. For the first time, it is well possible to whiz on roller skates through the streets - which is really great in itself and really prepare much Fun! However, it is difficult if you want to pass through narrow passages or on an object targeted by the you want to cancel.
Since it is sometimes more difficult to properly "aimed" not to go next, or to miss the front door of the Pokemon Center ...
At least one can in such cases, even normal running via directional pad, because the roller skates are operated via the Circle Pad.
After my previous information it is not possible to dispense entirely with the skates, if you absolutely can not make friends so that.

What I have noticed until now (I realize here before to which I am currently en route to the second order and have already achieved my Pokemon average Level 20):
The NPC trainers are in my opinion a bit too weak. Currently put a lot of coaches even a Pokemon, what I find really disappointing.
The difficulty was in the Pokemon games though never particularly high, but that's really a bit too easily. Perhaps it is because the developers have time more focused on the online battles, so that one often playing against real players.

Maybe it is also due to my own excessive zeal in training my Pokemon and I'm simply too strong. I have since the first edition was one of the Pokemon collectors and have thus also much more knowledge over a player who is much younger and perhaps for the very first time playing Pokemon - which is very often overlooked. And one should also not forget that is designed the Pokemon games for the younger generation and not necessarily for old hands in the 20s :)

Nevertheless, I am so far a bit disappointed by the "resistance" of the game and hope that that will change, and the developers have yet found an equilibrium level, as elsewhere. The game is finally long and promises a lot to offer even after the main story.

What's to say in conclusion? On the whole, I enjoy my very Edition and have massive fun, just because the 6th generation of this series has been renewed completely. Anyone who loves Pokemon or has liked long, should give this a chance editions. And as I said, even for someone who has never played Pokemon worth it. Buy recommendation!
