I've read the reviews here and thought to myself, all of which have no technical skills. Of course you can use a rubber mallet and the clamps must be tightened properly. It's no iPhone ;-) I have the device on the garden table set up, filled with sand and water, more with the rubber mallet Ring beaten minutes to the large sealing ring (until the two parts to be held together with the screw touched) Then set up, connected, tightened clamps and finish. It is dense, quiet, small, perfect for my pool 6000 liters. The switch is also easy (do not know where the problem is) The moment you turn on the pump for the preset time (2, 4, .. hour) goes to. The cycle is then repeated the next day exactly where I turned on the pump for the first time. (I press at 16:00 at, chose 2 hours so it starts tomorrow at 16:00 for 2 hours). So to me it has a buy recommendation.
