This small amplifier meets normal requirements as they occur on the PC etc wholeheartedly. I have four of them purchased for an audio experiment with 8 channels and am completely satisfied with all appliances.
Technically:
Since the habit is becoming more common to keep quiet about the technical specifications of a device or spice it by imagination values we measured. Also because I needed to know in the application context, what really makes the amplifier. Therefore, performance curves were constructed. These measurements have shown a maximum output of 11 watts RMS of 2.5 Ohm load over a frequency range of 10Hz to 20kHz.
The performance decreases at 60Hz to about 10 watts RMS at 40 Hz to about 8 watts RMS at 20 Hz to 5 WattRMS and at 10Hz to 2 watts RMS. In the range between 1000 Hz and 20KHz it is almost constant at> 11W. On a 4 Ohm loudspeaker transmits (JBL Control One) the amplifier reacts with predictable performance halved. (All measurements + -10%)
For non-technicians:
The sound is consistently acceptable, but far from high fidelity and Mozart Symhony 44 is rather an exhausting pleasure. But (Internet) radio or the latest songs of I & I, Sarah Brightman, Xavier Naido or ElNomine also come from the CD across well - but here you'd expect no HiFi reproduction, which are clearly marked Audibel to the last details. (Perhaps the lyrics Take That Meiers would understand and would have to read the textbook is not always :-)
The device is processed good overall for the price and I am very happy with this good little 5 watt amplifier.
