I preferred RS160 to RS170 to an elderly relative I have, because much cheaper.

The batteries are rechargeable, but the grip of the helmet and reloading system is much less convenient than on the RS170 and especially of a current model (AAA), therefore not involving the purchase of a type of battery that prices are often very high. I recommend to prepare its settings as to reach the buttons on the headset, it's not easy.
To the ear, the sound is "warmer" than the RS85 helmet that I had for many years. For me, it does not assume the use of bass enhancement but everyone does as he pleases. Some complain of background noise said, but be aware that there may be some interference, because in our homes, there has multiple sources of waves that can disturb listening. This is a good product, nice whose volume is deliberately limited to protect the ears but an acceptable level. The sale price on Amazon is more reasonable and worth 4 stars him.
