I have tentatively ordered my iPad Holder, because I think the iPad butler for the car too expensive and have been looking for an alternative. Although this product is not advertised for use in the car, I have it both in the car and in the office in operation. In the car the iPad Holder is mounted on a pole of the driver's side headrest, so my three small children can watch a movies from extensive driving what works great. In the home office I have a screwed to the desk frame to which the holder also fits. In both cases, the iPad holds bombproof. I've tried the iPad Holder after delivery and kept the latched iPad down and fixed shaken: Because nothing happens! A real German quality product. Very solid. Even when driving with the holder is never something happens. As an iPad can fall out here, is beyond me. A five-star product. (Please contact the manufacturer if a telescopic rod would be installed to extract the iPad on, there were six stars from me.)
