Also on the Vita is beautiful: Little Big Planet

As 2008 came out the first part of "Little Big Planet" on the PS3, I was seriously impressed. The design of the sweet Sackboy, the creativity that has gone into the game, and the mixture of classic platforming with new ideas I am completely thrilled. Part two was more of the same (and I liked it not so good). Accordingly, I was curious on the Vita version. Thanks to a voucher code I was able to spend on Sony's handheld a few hours with Sackboy. And my resume: The game is managed and designed to take advantage of the Vita to the full.

First is "Little Big Planet Vita" just like his two predecessors PS3 a mix of platforming, boss battles, small puzzles and minigames. In addition, you can find on your own planet level itself - and are made available via the PSN of the community. By means of the built-in camera, you can take pictures as well as its immediate real-life environment and import (which was previously also already using Eye (Toy) camera on the PS3 possible). Also like its predecessors: Robert de Niro's German voice commenting on the game - and so smugly as amusing.

The Vita game begins at "La Marionette" - Sackboy to put the crazed puppeteer craft. Here you will find nine imaginatively designed level in circus / puppet stage appearance. Who still takes key addition to the entire level hidden stickers, so bonus level unlocks (for this later). It continues into the existing seven levels "Strange Land", which consists of enchanted forests and devastated. In addition, still have "Jackpot City" with its factories and two other countries (which I have not been activated) are exempt from the wooden helpers of the puppeteer.

For each free played and conquered land a minigame in is enabled "The Arcade" in Story Mode also depending what most video game fans should look forward, because it is here to Sackboy homages other games. For example can be found with Tapling a little-big-planet-version of the Independent Game Hits "Limbo" (not so scary!) In "The Game Room". But even classic games like "Beat the Mouse" (with Sackboy) and a three-dimensional blend of "Tetris" and the PS3 Move game "Tumble" are included.

The Vita version gives the player the opportunity to through the tap on the screen (or the Vita-back), freizuräumen ways for Sackboy or to form steps and platforms, so the little hero can achieve his goal. In addition, the Vita version also offers back-level sections, which can be played only for two (I still untested). Also, each level must be visited more often if you want to find all the stickers. Sackboy can partly missile shoot - then follow the fingertip on the display. Also magnetic hooks and similar gadgets are the figure sometimes available. Sackboy is again varied to "lets you adopt," do you mean, a lot of different outfits, hairstyles and Accessories are the small doll made of burlap available. PSN Trophies, there are of course the game also.

Overall, a great game that does not need to hide from his great predecessors for the PS3. Imaginative Entertainment is provided with this title, anyway. Graphics and sound are excellent implemented, and also my fear that no longer involved "Media Molecule" but a new developer, and the game is therefore grits, was unfounded.

Consequently, a full five stars from me for Sackboy "Little Big Planet Vita" -Adventure. Buy recommendation for platforming fans and friends and entertaining-violent poor imaginative games.
