The battery door can be very easily with a button open from the top and re-insert it without fumbling. Pleasant is that the SCM then remains for several minutes in coupling readiness. The coupling according to the instructions for Windows 8 failed with me with Windows 8.1 x64 desktop, German, Bluetooth HCI 2.0 USB stick. The coupling via the Desktop path "Control Panel -> Devices and Printers -> Add Device" managed. The specific drivers are not installed automatically. For this, the operating instructions for Windows 7 and Windows 8 points referenced a 'Action Center' which does not exist for me. Coupling with Kindle Fire is of course denied by pointing out that a matching profile is not supported; the iPad is the estrous SCM does not even.
The mouse controls the following interactions: on the Blue Thumb key wipe up, wipe down, press; left, center, right mouse button; Scroll wheel before and turn back to the left and right tilt. Furthermore, it has an electromechanical on / off switch and the Bluetooth pairing button. Press the thumb button is not, unfortunately, as usual, use the Back button is, but with 'Start'.
The mouse runs about three times as fast as the Mighty Mouse with me on USB and appears to the factor to behakeln also. Is pretty, that acceptance of Wischs with vibrating mouse is acknowledged.
The "Sculpt" -Daumenaushöhlung I feel just as disturbing, but everyone's and every fraus Hand and mouse grip are of course different. I have, however, suspect that the design has the only sense to let the SCM look ergonomic, and it must be accepted that the erosion is ergonomically a disadvantage: in the (non-) interaction with the lowering of the right hand side opposite left it difficult to lift the mouse, because exactly where I want to under take in parallel with the ring finger with the thumb would the bead has. So the SCM wobbles when lifting to the right. For a star deduction.
The SCM looks shorter than the Mightymaus but is approximately the same length on the finger side also about the same, on the palm side considerably thicker. For orientation both on wheel axis or trackball center, the SCM is shorter in the back, longer in the front than the MM and the thumb button is about the same. Compared with the Intellimouse Explorer form (here: SteelSeries Sensei) the Sensei is about half an inch shorter when both aligns to wheel axis, the SCM is back as the same thickness, the IME-profile does not extend beyond the thickest point, however, has later and falls forward from less flat. The thumb button is half a key width further forward than the front thumb button of the Sensei. The rubber coating of the SCM feels a little slippery than that of the Sensei. The upper material is similar to the Mighty Mouse is available in black, however, reflective and thus lubricating vulnerable. Unfortunately, it seems only just to give a black color variant, instead of different faceplates to replace. To be but the sliding surfaces look like the outer material used appear (about 5 mm wide, curved glide front and rear) and listen to the discontinuation of the mouse also to soft. The sliding properties are unremarkable.
It is handy that the bottom is rough running. This facilitates a label or scratch-engraving.
