hmmm ... I do not understand the rather bad reviews.
I deliberately bought this cord and this for two reasons that are perhaps not so obvious.
1) It's an extremely "rare" cable products in themselves:
3.5 mm jack on one side, 2.5 mm jack on the other - and the 2.5mm side has an ultra thin (!!) plug (not the connection is meant but the plug grip).
It fits in all (!) Headphones with 2.5mm jack (standard port and Bose nothing special connector or something like that).
Many of the 2.5 mm connectors, which are located on the headphone shell side usually allow only very or even extremely thin connector and this one is so thin that it just fits into all KH-shells.
2) The cable also fits into the new BOSE sound True (Around Ear) Headphones. Sure, compared to the original cable is missing the micro, which I do not need, because I do not use the phone on the smartphone.
You can see it if necessary poorly on the product photo: the contacts on both sides are gilded.
The cable itself is very "soft" and has an almost rubber-like insulation. Hardly Mikrophonie in the headphones, that you rub on the cable, you can not hear the rubbing in the left shell.
The price is, in my view with about 7 euros extremely cheap ... and this is why the cable acts Although filigree on me but still not cheap.
So, for me very clear: buy recommendation - I have 4 of these cables, all function properly :-)
