Looking for a flexible model I chose the TC-252nd The special thing about this is the modular design, you can swap the cable to the remote release to other cameras operate.
The supplied cable here "S2" represents the "new" Sony (multi-) USB connection, the example of the NEX successors is A5000 / 5100/6000 installed and also on the Sony RX100 II, A58 or A77 II. With the S1 cable can then match the "older" models without multi-USB connect such as the A77. Similarly, there is cable for Canon, etc.
Bulb mode, Long Exposure, simple remote trigger, any intervals - everything is so doable. The operation is slightly out of hand, the main button is similar to the shutter button on the camera (weak press -> measurement, by pressing -> trigger). The display is sufficient and even illuminated (very useful if you make long exposures, which usually take place in a dark place).
Two criticisms I have, however, which then lead to the depreciation of a star:
1. Manual: in English and Chinese. Some might be bothered by the lack of German language bothers me less. BUT: the English is not a decent English but is probably machine translated from Chinese or whatever. Some sentences do not make sense or are even technically wrong. So even if one is quite sure in the English language have to concentrate a lot to understand the instructions. Fortunately, the menu is quite logical / self-explanatory, by reading and try to get relatively quickly behind.
2. At intervals, the display counts down the remaining images. Unfortunately, a point is too little display, so you do not know how many trips are now actually left!
That said, I am very satisfied.
Tip: It is helpful in any case, even a Velcro strip to fix the trigger, for example on the stand.
