Although an alternative to expensive products, but in the long term not really practical

A few weeks ago I put my game "Elite: Dangerous" to - a commercial / discovery / combat game that takes place in space. This game supports inter alia the Oculus Rift. Since I am not willing to invest several hundred euros for a still unfinished product with an uncertain future, I have decided for the time being for the cost-effective alternative to a mobile phone to test at least once the "VR-feeling". As a result, it was on the one hand indeed surprisingly good, on the other hand but also not exactly brilliant.

The application conditions:

The positive points:

First of all, the handling of the case is without any problems. Everything has come self-explanatory and you can fix the phone without any problems in the housing.

For a price of 20 euros, the quality is absolutely fine. The plastic case makes a sufficiently strong impression.

The less positive points:

As already mentioned several times, the comfort of housing is bad right. This part pushes horribly on the nose and must be urgently bolstered.

What I found incredibly annoying: it requires some tinkering until you have tuned the software so far that even a reasonable representation is made possible. This is obviously a point that this case was not responsible, but I bring it here for completeness with, since some the impression that this case involved a "simple" story. The best is as if one some demos from Google Play look at how just the above Dive Coaster City. Start, Load Cell, works. But if you want something more elaborate stories to stream from your PC, it may already be fairly expensive. Anyway, I have not considered this point here at the final evaluation.

Also less well: The insertion of the mobile phone is not a problem, but on pressing the case, it may happen that you accidentally Rocker or - at worst - even the on / off button pressed. This of course depends very much on each phone model.

Can I make a buy recommendation for this part? Basically, yes. For the price you can not go far wrong and a little wow factor donated the housing in any case.
