Possessor of Garmin GPS watches (Forerunner 205) for a few years, I hesitated in between the garmin forerunner 620 and tomtom. I chose the tomtom mainly for cardio wrist (a flash sale on amazon also influenced my choice ...). It has been 3 weeks since I use it as much as jogging, that training on the track. On the positive side, more cardio chest, the watch should be tight enough but it's not annoying, it is comfortable to wear current year. The display is large enough. The "MyTomTom" software is powerful and clear: CF, speed, speed ... one quickly sees the work. Interval training creation is simple. The "demo" mode seems gadget but, in fact, allows to take over the operation of the watch without saving. GPS is accurate and can be adjusted quickly. On the negative side, cardio has time to time bugs. On my first outing my FC dropped sharply during a climb ... It happened again a few times. It is also a shame not to be able to memorize the "intervals" for reuse. But the programming speed compensates for this non memorization. For tours, we just display time per kilometer. It might be interesting to select other data such as lap time or distance. The stopwatch mode is super interesting for workouts on the track: the total time display of the turn. Too bad that nothing is saved and that we have no pace or FC. For me, this chrono mode could correspond to the "manual lathe" function. The "touch" button for manual lathes (or light) sometimes seems a bit difficult to operate while running, especially during quick workouts. A true button might have been easier to use as the chrono mode when using the square button to mark a turn. In short, this shows generally satisfies me. Accustomed to Garmin, I can not find some features a bit more pointed as recording interval workouts or the choice of viewing towers. It corresponds perfectly to long runs or workouts in kind where the programming of the watch will guide us.
