The installation is simple, apart from the length of the amplifier. Should not you have plenty of space behind the car radio, then there are smaller models. For me, the amplifier is approximately 1 month worked flawlessly after the installation, and then I had absolutely no radio reception. What happened? In the aluminum tube only two components are contained, the connectors for the antenna and the amplifier on an elongate circuit board. These are unfortunately directly connected, ie the rigid end of the "Plus" pole of the antenna ends right on a solder joint of the board. Here was the design errors of the amplifier, as this is where the solder joint is broken. It's probably dawned when pushing the plug and the temperature fluctuate plus vibration in the car have the connection given the rest.
Most likely, you can correct the fault yourself, by soldering a flexible connecting wire, fix, but who does that ;-) I have certainly replaced him and now I have again Radio reception :-)
Overall, I can not recommend it because it is very large and has the error described the product.
