I had long been searching for the perfect sports bracelet, have been doing a lot of (sports) scoured stores, the Apple store scoured, and am finally been able to find - more to the other bracelets that are in my opinion not as suitable to continue below.
The Griffin Adidas miCoach Armband fits both the iPhone 5s (without shell, but also with the original leather case Apple) and the iPhone 4 or 4s (albeit without Bumper). If you use the strap to the iPhone 5s including Apple Case, you should note that the Strap material yields over time. And if you sometimes omits the case, the iPhone no longer sits so well in the bracelet. But two or three times you can already try with Case, then you know how it is good for one is best.
The bracelet is very well made and makes a high impression. The tape is long enough and fits also for something more extensive upper arms. It has a bottom opening (suitable both for the iPhone 4 (S) as well as for the iPhone 5 (S) - the docking connector is thus freely accessible.
This is reduced to the absolute minimum so that no moisture is likely to come to the smartphone. Above is a small opening - for the headphone output of the iPhone 4s. When it rains, that's maybe not so ideal. For this you can either mask off the small section, and or use the iPhone 5s with Case, which then provides additional protection. Either way, the iPhone remains the sport dry - sweat does not get inside. However, my iPhone is simply too expensive to take it in rain for outdoor sports - at least not for a jog. If, then, I have it here while biking in the backpack. For this visit of the Rollei matching bag: WP-i20. Although is an underwater bag per se, but is very flexible in many ways.
On delivery, the Griffin Adidas miCoach Armband had a more offensive odor, but the sets after one to two days. In addition, the bracelet also tolerates a hand up to 30 degrees - without smartphone course.
In strap can be operated without any problems the iPhone. The ID-touch sensor, however, is obscured, but bothers me not at all. In the key box comes with me is not the key, here I have for emergencies always a bill with it.
Overall it is a very thin and barely brushing bracelet, which fits comfortably and sports (running) as well as non-slip.
What other sports bracelets were still available:
Belkin EaseFit and Belkin Slim Fit and Belkin Neoprene
Nathan Sonic Boom
Nike Diamond and Nike Performance
They were either too expensive (partly twice as expensive as the Griffin Adidas miCoach) or not as well made or have the smart phone is not adequately protected.
The absolutely perfect bracelet I have not found despite the long search, but this bracelet comes close. The price / performance ratio fits easily, as easy as the iPhone fits in the wristband.
From me there's a good four star and a buy recommendation.
