This book is a brilliant demonstration that we still have much to learn about how to live and grow in our society, where education and instruction, paramount, castrate and limit more than it liberates and emancipates. Andrew Stern and his parents are not against the school, but for anything else, just in line with the school of Summerhill but focused on the game, which over the notes, is the true learning factor : we learned something when you know play, through example and enthusiasm.
