New coffin, Volume 2: Punk's not dead (Paperback)

Customer Review

By writing Clothing mixing elegance and authenticity Anthelme Hauchecome grabs us as a popular storyteller, prompting us to sit on a keg in his dark alley to listen minds dantan speak through him.

In this book or rub legends, supernatural and fantasy we do knowledge with sometimes endearing, sometimes frightening, never perfect and always credible, whether human or not.
This is a call at Budapest ravaged by fire as we begin our trip and we meet Eva, a future that will not soon scorpailleuse life as a surprising friendship that is reminiscent of a cartoon very Miyzaki known although it seems that it is not wanted. But this unexpected friend he really want the good or will he lead her to destruction? The answer is suggested that at the end of this news, which, fortunately, is part of the stories that the author says he wants to dig deeper.
If I speak in particular of the new even if it is not my favorite it is precisely because it is the first collection of dice and the first pages I knew I would love it all qu'Hauchecorne and the book would become a recurring name on my shelves.

The universe covered in the different news are varied and always perfectly mastered, we feel that there is a true upstream research work that brings a kind of stability to the whole of reality. Whether the afterlife of a living death punk, the latest underwater adventure of a dragon, the people's revolution from below that watch helplessly two teenagers, the infernal forfeiture of a group of Utopians angels or all the other stories a bit disturbed outputs of a more fertile brain than average, all these new, although sometimes very dark are always tinged with a little humor, although often black, distilled right dose and prevents the stories of falling into melodrama and despair.

Also thanks to the backstage of a few pages after each new we learn a little more about the history, in the same pen the author, which sometimes allows us to see the references that had escaped us or just to have some explanation additional.
Each new is also punctuated with an illustration of talented Loic Canavaggia.

So for me it's official, every library should to be considered as such, contain at least one book by this author more than promising.
