Evil is, how is she become this evil that makes everybody tremble with terror? Who is following the raven and serves faithfully? Why does she feel this hatred towards men?
So many questions are answered in this book that I devoured in an afternoon.
From the beginning, one is carried away by the magic, and such a tale, the story is narrated to us with poetry and simplicity. It is fluid and easy to read, we actually left enchanted by this story, this prequel to the story of Sleeping Beauty, which I found very successful.
We are witnessing the birth of Evil in the people of the Fairies, and before our eyes, it will grow and become that nasty black fairy in the heart of stone.
I loved this people discover fairies and their environment. I liked the three good fairies found Dawn and droll, although here they go for even more stupid than they are.
Aurore is a secondary character is discovered through the eyes of Maleficent. It is a pure heart and even if a certain naivete and fragility characterizes it, we realize that it is much stronger and determined than that.
As for Evil, I loved meeting her at last! Like many of the outstanding villains, life was rough with her, and against these adversities, it has not always known how to behave. Suffering is hard to manage and anger and vengeance often prevail. Throughout the pages, we understand why it became this black fairy, and one can not help feeling sorry and have sympathy for her.
It does not get bored, there is always something interesting. Action, discoveries ... The pages scroll quickly and we are already at the end, saying that they should go to see the movie now ^^
In short, an enchanting and enjoyable reading, which takes us into the dark thoughts of Evil
