The rest of the book concerns the species, more than 630, and a field guide it is very complete. There are no boards but rather each species is presented only with an illustration (if there is more sexual dimorphism for example - that is to say almost 1,600 drawings in all). And a complete map with different colors to see whether the species is sedentary, migrant, occasional visitor, etc. The text deals with the identification, behavior, habitat, song, status and reproduction.
But even if I find this excellent guide if you already have a guide to the birds of South East Asia ("Birds of South-East Asia" Craig Robson is excellent) I simply states that almost 80% of species This Guide is already presented in the guide Robson (indeed Bornean wildlife is part of Sundaland, also including the Malay Peninsula).
In short an excellent book that will be a perfect companion to all lovers of birds and nature wishing to explore the lush rainforests of Borneo.
