An honest response to previous

In the previous volume, Bennett had many concerns: a godfather of the underworld has sworn his death and that of his family before disappearing and abandoning the nanny.
But the police took seriously threats of Perrine and decided to protect Bennett, her nanny and children. Lost in the middle of nowhere, they expect as the days pass without much news from the outside.
But Perrine not standing still: he decided to retrieve the various cartels that oppose him by organizing butchers that impress his enemies, allies, police and the public. The FBI then called Bennett hoping to stop the massacre.

Construction fairly standard and predictable, we regret here that the personality of Perrine, the far more interesting, not more stressed. The authors construct the evil plans, but the players as the police only see the result which is a shame given the richness of the character.
Bennett meanwhile is a little behind serving more than lucky spectator as active element in the inquiry. Sure he can draw laurels, but closing the book, I can not help thinking that the investigation would have been resolved in the same way without him.

Personal side, we have the opportunity to see some more children, although 10 is a lot for authors who are struggling to give them a real place. We see the rebellion of the elders and especially the commitment of their nanny to the family outside the norm.
End just phoned, but which has the merit of closing several things. To see how the result will turn now.

The style is not very high and all reads quickly and easily, but the book is held promise without much distraction headlock and effort.
