In this artbook you will find the early work of John Howe. Many illustrations Heroic Fantasy having been used for book covers (books which you are the hero, etc.) and also to various media of the "Lord of the Rings" until the completion of the filmed trilogy of Peter Jackson, Lord of the Rings. I expected that this book covers only the movie Lord of the Rings trilogy, based on the book cover.

Very nice book to have for fans of heroic fantasy
