An overall good phone with a major weakness

Actually, Siemens is the phone manufacturer for me. Good equipment, simple but functional design. No unnecessary "Chi-Chi", but everything is there what you need. I have now owned and used multiple phone of Siemens Euroset series, and this one is the first thing me - really massively disappointed - at one point. The phone has many features, it dominates CLIP (ie displaying the caller's phone number), you can use it without going off-hook, but it does not need a power supply (There are two versions of the Euroset 5020. The Senior has a power supply, the Newer not). And it has a speakerphone.

Theoretically at least, it has a speakerphone. The works also. However, it has repeatedly misfires. Like a lousy phone connection is between just the sound off. For longer calls, for example with colleagues or clients, the phone is therefore - in handsfree mode - useless. In addition, I can not understand why the mute button not only its own microphone (so I know it from all previous devices of Euroset series) disabled, but the speakers / earphones.

Overall, it's actually a good phone. The caller list is practical. It has sufficient speed dialing keys. It is easy to operate. The voice quality is good - probably here the history of the telephone cord has at most more influence on the voice quality, as the phone itself an all round good-to-use device.. If only there were not the cruel bad speakerphones.

Unfortunately, it has not managed SIEMENS, the Euroset 2015 to equip with CLIP. That would be a perfect device.
