Tired of CFLs that well before slamming the promised date, and pending LEDs that illuminate to beyond 20 watts (even if you begin to find that work well), I turn to halogen, with adapters E27 / E14 to G9 (E27 G9 search on amazon), which ultimately helps to replace only the bare minimum and not the few dozen grams of plastic and metal superfluous (if the energy required to include manufacture, transport, it must encrypt worldwide).
The bulb itself is absolutely classic (category D), but appears slightly more powerful than those supplied with the luminaire.
Another point to note, it is manufactured in Germany.
