This CD deserves to be ranked in the pantheon of the finest musical wonders, so perfect that has been, in different styles, the Black Album Metallica or Nirvana's Nevermind. This CD is fantastic from start to finish. After the intro Apocalypse Please arises excellent, and it was beautiful to expect the good, the Muse, one gets a slap: Title marries piano rock opera style and tone all backed by the excellent voice of Matthew Bellamy leaves us speechless. We say that this CD starts well, and voila Time Is Running Out, which drives the nail. Resolutely rock, while remaining within the spirit Muse, it's great. I heard before it was hammered on all radio stations and I can assure you that the effect is outstanding. Follows a Sing for Absolution quieter kind of eye of the storm, calm before the storm. And the storm voila: 5 minutes of a frantic rock, boisterous, always magnified by THAT voice, I speak of the wonder of this CD: Stockholm Syndrome. From the intro we realize that we take a spectacular thing, hyper nervous, the piece takes us to the guts and we loose more, takes us up to an insane solo. This piece is perfect, in the vein of wonderful New Born (Origin of Symmetry). If LA is New Born Wonder Muse Stockholm Syndrome is the runner. Falling Away With You calm spirits after déferlente, and interlude (actually extro the previous track) we relaxed a bit, before Hysteria .... do NOT return to the land of monstrous guitar riffs and pieces powerful and nervous. More than classic Stockholm Syndrome, it is still very good. Blackout is the anti-hysteria, extremely quiet and gentle, but very pretty. Butterflies and Hurricanes is the piece apart from the CD, starting as a good rock, then stopping time of a soft piano solo before returning with a vengeance. more accessible Micro Cuts like a UFO, but not necessarily better. Then follows the last very rock song, the small print, classic but effective. Endlessy is an electro ballad that one wonders place on the CD, but it is nice. Throught Of A Dying Atheist English sounds more pop, more U2, but it is not a criticism, just that the song is a bit too classic for my taste. The last piece, Ruled by Secrecy, too quiet, too much trouble to start, despite the beauty of the song, I think his place is not in the final of this superb album. perhaps by reversing Ruled by Secrecy and Endlessy, CD building was like the pieces: excellent, alternating between quiet passages and nervous, in short, excellent. The Muse cuvées 99 and 01 were great, the Muse 2003 vintage cult, almost divine.
