I needed a grid, so I can sometimes fully load the boot (eg. Including vacation trips) "to the rafters", yet in the case of an accident, the cargo was not flying in the cabin and my family at risk.
The stability of the grid itself acts sufficient for this. The standing stability of the grid is bad, I'll fix it (as mentioned by others) with cable ties to the headrest.
Because when I use the grid itself is stabilized down by luggage, this point is not a problem for me, dog owners should possibly think about another solution.
However, a real gripe is the smell. The plastic parts stink dreadfully Chemicals.
"Standing on the balcony" Even after 4 weeks outgassing stink the parts still disgusting ... I just hope that this issue yet "done", otherwise is to use the grid not to think (and I'm not very sensitive).
Mounting instructions it gave way, not at all, however, the assembly declared actually saying.
Addendum: After the plastic parts have now located over 4 weeks on the balcony, I have taken them into the apartment to wash it with hot soapy water. Then I lie overnight in the bathroom left (forgot) ... was a really good idea of me now stinks the bathroom for three days already penetrant by chemical (plasticizer / solvent o. Ä.), Even lasting airing hardly helps , :-(
However, the plastic parts still stink.
Since dogs are much more sensitive than we are, it seems to me the use of this plastic material such as animal cruelty.
Have the plastic parts and dispose of "up" and "down" a strip of wood adapted, I have provided with "semi-deep" holes for the support braces.
Conclusion: For Hobbyists this grid is still useful, even if the favorable price is increased by "Accessories" and working.
Addendum: The individual pursuit of the grid have been warped and bent by only a holiday trip. It is no longer possible to adjust / push the struts into each grid, renewed use no longer seems possible, because I fear that in the real load bent struts simply "buckling". Therefore, yet another star was withdrawn.
