Ariana Grande - My Everything

Ariana Grande - My Everything

My Everything (Deluxe Edition) (Audio CD)

Customer Review

So here is the second studio album by Ariana Grande "My Everything". I bought the album on iTunes and can therefore poorly evaluate the CD and whether still any frills here. In addition, I review only "My Everything" and it does not compare with their first album "Yours Truely," because I know anyway only small sections of the song "The Way" from this. In addition, I do not review their change of style, although I can well understand that they probably not forever as - wants to be known Cat Valentine from "Victorious" - honestly pretty stupid and naive. Gelabert enough, here comes the review of each song:

"Intro": Relatively short song, a mere minute twenty seconds, and also comparatively fairly quiet. Very soulful song, it's worth the deluxe version in any case.
4/5

"Problem" (ft Iggy Azalea.): A fast track to where you can celebrate good definitely. Ariana has her voice here very well under control, although some are also fairly difficult passages here. Even the Rappart of Iggy Azalea likes me.
4/5

"One Last Time": Nice song. The song has a central theme and the rhythm is kept relatively simple. Personally, I like the song, which incidentally was written by David Guetta. Nevertheless, there are hardly instrumental Parte and Ariana sings almost all the time, which makes them the way pretty well. The high and the low notes she meets, especially to what heights she cranks up her voice in the last chorus admirably.
4/5

"Why Try": Many high-pitched sounds, but if you buy the album, you have to know just that Ariana has just become known for her high-pitched voice. The chorus is in my opinion better managed than the verses. Especially the "Why Try" in the chorus, I enjoy: D Do you have to just listen, So just listen to the excerpts.
5/5

"Break Free" (ft Zedd.): Very fast song. Does this sound a little, as if you have played around a bit because of the speed controllers. The song has, in my opinion, no special features. Although I must say that I, anyway not like so much the style of DJ Zedd, who incidentally also co-wrote the song. A low point of the otherwise well done album.
3/5

"Best Mistake" (ft Big Sean.): Stanzas and chorus go more or less seamlessly into each other, but I did not just find bad. There are just no gigantic explosion, according to the use the whole instrument. The Part of rapper Big Sean is great (by the way: Ariana and Sean are also more together: D). One of my favorites.
5/5

"Be My Baby" (ft cashemere Cat.): I think the song rather monotonous. Nearly the whole chorus seems to consist of the words "Be My Baby", quite annoying. And especially depth has also not the song, as opposed to "Intro", "Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart" and "Best Mistake". Absolute low.
1/5

"Break Your Heart Right Back" (Childish Gambino ft.): The song is good, but nothing special. The instruments used in the chorus still give the song a bit more natural and not the DJ booth effect. The text is good, but nothing earth shattering. Still quite nice.
3/5

"Love Me Harder" (The Weeknd ft.): I like the song. It has just the right pace and Ariana has her voice super control (Example: This "uuu" in the chorus) The Part of The Weeknd I found not so good, although I somehow do not like his voice also. Is very good to have the radio hit, the else would incidentally recommended.
4/5

"Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart": Oh. My. God. The piano is great and Ariana's voice fits perfectly to it. A very quiet song, but the absolute highlight on the album. But this song would be a reason to buy the album, even if the rest was absolute garbage. The text is also mega. Ariana has in the song not even involved, but Johan Carlsson and Harry Styles.
6/5 (ups, no matter)

"Hands On Me" (ft A $ AP Ferg.): The song is okay, in the end it gets something that somehow reminiscent of Egypt A $ AP Ferg is in my opinion not the rapper of (is it just me?) century, but in order. Is probably not to everyone's taste, so just check it out. However, I find the song for "Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart" slightly out of place.
4/5

"My Everything": So this is the song after the album was named. Also rather calm, but also beautiful. Is not my highlight, rather as mediocre. As with "Best Mistake" there is again no explosion to the chorus, which is here not quite so well, but has also worked somehow.
3/5

"Bang Bang" (ft Jessie J & Nicki Minaj.): First of all: Jessie J I do not like anyway, but I took the rap from Nicki Minaj well. Even more thought to dance. In return, the DLX version is definitely worth. Super song, even though Jessie sings almost all the time, because it is good instrumental and Ariana and Nicki finally also have their part.
4/5

"Only 1": A nice song. No mega hit, but not a disaster. Met all Tön, but otherwise the song is nothing special. It seems again somewhat artificial quickly. More can be to actually do not write.
3/5

"You Do not Know Me": The song is a great degree for the album. Ariana sings again in different octaves (I think) and the text is also fine. Overall, very good, not great, but good.
3/5

Overall, of course, is true: once again listen Definitely a little to the music and form their own opinion. My favorite is (surprise!) "Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart" and the low point is "Be My Baby".

3.73

Maybe not the best rating, but there are at least four rounded star. There are just a lot of very, very good songs and some bad, pull down the rating. Personally, I do not regret the purchase and the album can only recommend.
