For many years I was addicted to "Oehlbach-Wahn" and have spent huge sums for cables and adapters. Depending on the quality level you quickly reach the point where the sum of the pure wiring is similar in size to the remaining components of the system.

Clearly, a high-end cable (appropriate hardware provided) perhaps still has front nose, but eventually everyone must decide for themselves what it is the value.
