It is buying a Honda CRV with trunk open rather special that made me feel the need: the original remote control was HS (35Euro on ebay with no guarantee that it works) and it was a struggle open then tweak to find the control of inaccessible boot.
I chose the cheapest product from Amazon UK received quickly by Airmail while the same French vendors are more expensive because ... internal delivery rates in France !! (This is the same thing when I receives NGK spark plugs Japan or the US ... CDs)
The editing was a bit long, Honda wiring fault that did not fit the patterns found on the net: I had to use a tester to be methodical and not taking the risk of damaging the electronics of the car by a mishandling.
The module is very simple to connect: 12v, ground and two information from a switch or a centralized motor control for lock / unlock. The question is whether the info comes from the mass or 12V. Connecting the flashing is optional, but more enjoyable.
However I am electrician at the base and I use the soldering iron and heat-shrink sleeve for a neat installation, I recommend this facility to "amateurs" savvy, at least not to be disappointed by an unreliable product assembly.
Remote controls are of good quality and do not "plastoc" unlike classic kits as remotes for gates or garage door. Besides, I ordered a second kit, through two 12v relay to buy my gate and the garage are two different original product whose remote controls are no longer selling or else for 45euro one ! Here: two new Telco 14euro for two more recovery relay (Car, Electronic appliance ....): it's seen everything!
I would take later a third kit for the Opel Calibra if I see that the product grown old well ...
I repeat: if you do not know the minimum connect a car radio, drop or have some to do the wiring for you ;-)
Small Flat:
If you need them: the module does not lift the electric windows when closing.
The separate boot command sends a - (ground) when I needed a 12v, I can use it to actuate a relay that it sends 12v (see diagram)
