I am very disappointed with my purchase, so much on the product itself than on manufacturer EPSON. I bought a WF-2540 multifunction printer comes with the EPSON test cartridges (no worries). I then opted for these generic cartridges (very good price / quality ratio). First thing: You should know EPSON grows purchase. So he was asked to change my test cartridges (visualization in support gauges presented as extremely low). Or, I could regularly printed for a month without worry. Next, I had to insert my first generic black cartridge and there worries began ... Very important: you must remove the piece of orange plastic BEFORE inserting the cartridge in the printer (this is written anywhere and this is a serious breach). Otherwise, the cartridge is not recognized and is permanently stuck in the cartridge tray. To remove it, you may damage your printer you "wing" with pliers, screw driver etc .... Luckily for me, after the manipulation, I could avoid the worst. So you reinsert the cartridge (cruder than EPSON - harder to remove too) but this phase is not dramatic. It is then that the problems begin: EPSON tells you immediately and every impression that you use a product other than the brand and tells you clear your prints will always be poor and that there will be ink leakage everywhere. Result: Printing is perfectly good but with the generic ink metering is exaggerated (printing on the front rubbed off on the back, in places) and the footer is systematically sprayed with black ink. A message reminds you EPSON clear "no wonder your impressions are rotten" and even gives you a coupon code to stock up. I strongly suspect the brand to program the printer on a low quality mode when not using their products. By buying EPSON, I got the message: Thank you for purchasing Epson!
