Plus points:
- The form factor is really good. The tablet is very good in the hand, the comparison with a folded magazine becomes quite frequently drawn. The tablet thus actually feels much lighter than it actually is.
- The slightly velvety rough surface of aluminum back is comfortable grip, and also on the palm, the tablet will be kept.
- Hold, Stand and Tilt mode are thought through and find me all application
- Little customized Android 4.2.2, hardly preinstalled Bloat-Ware
- No surprises in the hardware performance; Apps and Games (tested Plants vs. Zombies 2, Dead Trigger 2) run smoothly, starting and switching between running apps goes quickly
- Mega-battery life; this information is, of course, be treated with caution, I reckon with heavy use (games, surfing, consuming Apps) pessimistic to halve this figure. Should I keep the tablet, I'll leave an update after long-term use here, in terms of maturity.
- Processing: It creaks and rattles nothing, the state is likely a solid, the tablet is good and also holds gross motor inserts without tipping. The (few) hard buttons on the housing-edge sit tight and give a clear tactile feedback when you press them.
- Amazing full sound from the built-in speakers, thanks to Dolby Digital Plus
Bad points:
- The most obvious downside is the low resolution of 1280x800, which, however, only makes itself negatively noticeable when significantly sharper display is used. Who here has high expectations, must unfortunately continue to look
- Confusion with the keyboard, said probably not (all) is to blame the product
All in all I would give the tablet due to the exceptional advantages and the bold design (finally something else) definitely 4 star, and thus give a buy recommendation, if you can do without the keyboard (it taps her well on the screen, this review is written on it), or the additional purchase of these is not afraid. If the keyboard included in the purchase price and useful, there is the fifth star!
UPDATE: 4/11/2013
After a weekend intensive (st) he use I want to post a small update to the battery life. This is really fantastic, the promised 18 hours are not a marketing gimmick. With continuous usage with activated WLAN, display brightness to "Auto", and all imaginable applications (games, Youtube, surfing, MP3, ...) which turns virtually without interruption of more than one person from Saturday morning to Saturday night (about 16 Hours net was used), was even "something" (about 3-4 hours) battery for the Sunday morning left (with a new device I lead to "retract" the battery deep discharge by 3x). With Wi-Fi turned off, the battery life increased again considerably.
Obvious "shortcoming": charging the battery takes - to thank the gentle Lenovo battery charging strategy - 4-5 hours, so it should be done overnight.
CONCLUSION: The tablet will stay with us!
