Models produced since the Summer 2013 are delivered with a new firmware unusable 506,
which the V300 SSD brakes to slow the level of a normal old hard drive down.
[...]
in all forums is now warned of this sham of Kingston.
[...]
the SSD with the high advertised speeds over 400MB / s had an older firmware 505 and other memory modules.
The first batch was shipped and was also all websites / magazines benchmarked so still okay,
then it suddenly changed to obstruct the production process to the cheapest possible slow components, in conjunction with the new firmware 506th
Since May so slow memory modules in Verbnindung with useless firmware 506 can be used without it informs customers!
I myself have unfortunately also as a sham receive the sequ when in my laptop with Core i3. Read just the Geschwindigeit my 500 Gb Samsung achieved record.
Too bad all colleagues who may have received the same SSD all measure the same slow braking perfomance.
So any individual case, but the entire series with the firmware 506 is unusable snail slow.
We will enter the Kingston V300 all back and hope that the new series with firmware 507 is better or change the manufacturer.
