Attention to the choice of Port PCI-e

First installed on a PCI-e 1X harbor (which corresponds exactly to the length of the card connectors), I got a USB type flow 2. Thinking that my motherboard Gigabyte EP45-DS3R is inconsistent because too old, I was ready to give up when Inateck spontaneously contacted me following my first note of a single star.

This was followed by a dialogue with Inateck and support of Gigabyte. On their advice, I plugged the card on a PCI-e 16X connector (yes, it is compatible despite the size difference between male and female connectors), and everything started to work with my external drive MyPassport 2TB USB3.

I recommend this card, and especially since the Inateck proactive support is to emphasize (Alice thank you!).
