The only drawback that I realized: If you try to "normal" car keys from other manufacturers to combine the key chain, there could be trouble. That's what happened in my case. Our second car is a Skoda Octavia and the ring of the key fob fitted hard through the opening of said key. After the key was in it, he was always extremely off to the side and bothered tremendously (both in the pocket and in the ignition), which is why I have the key now separately attached to another trailer.
