My Galaxy S was blocked at startup on the Samsung S. No way to access mode "download" or to conduct a reset. No key combination worked.
The jig allowed me to put my SGS in downloading mode, and I was able to install Samsung Gingerbread (2.3.5) instead of Froyo with his overcoat Orange.
I rediscovered my phone.
This mini-dongle saved me to change portable.
