More effective than Philips bulbs for higher difficulty tariff (unit), I love my bulb and the associated iPhone app. I installed a chandelier PS 2014 and the rendering is top ... it happens "pil hair" long side, fortunately the bulb is flat on its end. I highly recommend the purchase of this product if you please rather than a competing product which will certainly give you less for your money ...
EDIT: a few days after receipt of my bulb and removing this comment, my bulb unfortunately just made about her "bad" because the wifi module has dropped. Apparently this is a recurring problem and known to LIFX whose customer service was quite responsive. I will proceed to exchange via Amazon ...
