Coming out of the study area, the DT770Pro is very robust and provides for virtually all fixed parts separately available spare parts, the soft pillow is replaced quickly, as it is only held by four snaps. The cable is not detachable and has a spiral winding - mobile while walking surely that is not as convenient, but I might have to 32 ohms variant to access with short straight cables, but so be it, I have decided consciously for the 250 ohm version , with full knowledge of the spiral cable.
It comes with a simple plastic bag with paper card on which the address data of the owner can be entered for storage - typical of Pro products from Beyerdynamic.
The build quality is good and solid, nothing creaks or squeaks, everything seems very robust. The adjustment mechanism is also located quite firm (as opposed to my DT880 600 ohm Edition) and thus prevents accidental adjustment of the size.
The headphones sit well on his head, the pressure is not too high and thus pleasant, but with violent head movements of the headset remains in position.
The ear cushions are soft and have the same inner diameter as that of the DT880 and DT990 and thus provide for my big ears a lot of space.
A disturbing aspect of my mobile usage is me then noticed the other favors the headphones anyway - each earpiece has a bass reflex port, at the left rear, at the right front.
For faster walking, as well as wind, you can hear right unfortunately the airflow. Logically it would have been here if Beyerdynamic had the reflex ports mounted on both sides of the back.
Tonal waits DT770Pro with an emphasis on the upper levels and the bass range to, with a little recessed mids.
The centers are not entirely accurate and minimal tonal nuance to light, which does not continue to bother me.
In bass raising begin quite steep edge in the upper bass, covers the midbass and then falls in the deep bass evenly slowly. However, a bass monster is the DT770 Pro despite the increased emphasis by no means.
The upper levels are narrow, Beyerdynamic-typical, quite strongly increased - the infamous peak Beyer. Some test subjects get on well with him cope, others less so. Me it does not interfere unduly with mental fatigue or longer listening sessions this is a bit too much of a good thing for me.
A little emphasis on sibilants are also available.
The detail resolution is quite good for the price, even in the central region. The Hochtonbetonung cheating here but also a little bit, you should here differentiate between actually existing and feigned by the vote resolution.
The bass is a little on the softer side and not quite firm, but free from rumble.
For a closed headphones the stage presentation is not too bad and average width, but no real depth exists. Somewhat spatially and airy sound is still - I think the reflex ports are the reason for this.
For more fun on the way the PA DT770 Pro is a headset that I really like and is very convenient. How (and whether) the "Beyer Peak" annoying in the heights, everyone should decide for themselves - usually I can handle him.
The comfort is very good, as is the processing. Due to the size and the forward-facing reflex port on the right side of the DT770 Pro is mobile not completely suitable, comes with me but occasionally put to use.
Solid 4.75 star, I would say.
