On my HP DV8 1180eg the battery LED flashes laptop with this brand new battery usually. Windows displays the battery then to be empty. This error can be removed by battery, power button 15 seconds turn everything back and activate solve temporarily. Next time you start the problem is back. Term would be better than in the old original battery.
