I bought this as a spare battery for my Nikon D5100.

I had read some unofficial batteries are not recognized by this unit, so I took the chance.

In the end, I was very happy because it works quite normally. I could charge it with my official Nikon charger, charge Witnesses perfectly indicated completion of the load.

In the apparatus it is as if it were an original battery. Even the life is much the same (I have not measured, but it does not seem to take me less time).
