Unfortunately I had several instances where the supposedly durable LifeLite lamps are gone long before the specified service life broken.

The lamps were then not cheap and I was carried away let the basis of information about the oh so great longevity to pay the high price. I thought "Quality pays in the long term".

As these things were then broken one has pressed the warranty.

I've then recalculated. With cheap China-lamps I would have gone much cheaper in the overall balance.
