I have my first test with germ soybeans (so far I have only germinate mung beans) after just 2 days canceled. There was indeed a significant swelling, but no incipient growth of a seedling. By comparison, mung beans can be seen growing after less than 1 day. It may be that soybean take longer. An Internet search brought unfortunately only disappointing results. For most people catch the beans (also organic!) After 3 days to stink. As long as I wanted then did not wait and have the soaked seeds simply boiled.
The taste, the soybeans do not differ or hardly from normal beans seeds. They can be so simple as beans use (soup, salads, etc.). So then my recommendation: Use the soybeans as ordinary beans if you do not intend to try to establish your own tofu. Soy has a good, meat-like amino acid spectrum. That is always a reason to replace normal beans by soybeans. The own production of tofu is not worth it in my view, rather, because it is relatively expensive and finished tofu right here at reasonable prices.
Conclusion
The quality of these soybeans is not really outstanding. However, they are all well suited in particular to establish or replace normal bean tofu / soy milk.
