The platinum Blu-Ray / DVD / CD / SACD BDP9700 has a simple design, sober. With the beautiful aluminum front, the player exudes solidity. Connectivity is very complete: dual HDMI, digital coaxial / optical, analog (with Burr-Brown decoder for each channel ...), Ethernet, WiFi, USB. Read Blu-Ray, quality is optimal. On my 46PFL9705, the picture is very (very!) Clean and fluid. In DVD, it seems not to have seen the same DVD the last time it was viewed on a DVD deck. Indeed, with the QDEO processing, the image is in high definition. At the cost of some noise / artifacts in hectic scenes, but the effect is still very good (and can disable the desire to treatment). SACD (DSD via the second HDMI output), the sound is excellent (provided you have the amp can process the SACD and the number and quality of speakers, of course). On my AVR9900, I rediscover the disks that I had listened to that CD before. Immersion guaranteed. Part musical 'of the plate has a separate power supply. Finally, through USB or internet (SmartTV), we can access any content DIVX, etc. But I have not tested this, not seeing the interest of feeding an HD set as SD content (and sometimes from) doubtful ... In short, I am completely satisfied with my construction player and serious design, and I recommend it.
