Neoprene protects against dirt and is waterproof. The very soft inside protects your laptop from scratches. Overall I would recommend this cover on the current price (-50% coupon). By cons, for vadrouilleuses, forgetful, clumsy, I prefer clear that this case is not made to protect the various shocks. No thickness and no padding. It's a beautiful cover, a "fashion" accessory I recommend it especially at 16 instead of base 32, but this is not a real shock protection.
