As you can see in the photos the stainless steel strip is matte black, while the case of the clock will appear glossy black. The small blue pointers which are light blue in the product photo, are dark blue! This should be considered when buying. The clock comes in a conventional fossil metal box in which the clock is situated in a cardboard tray. The clock is very stable and makes a robust impression. Even after it has fallen down a time (about 1 meter), I could neither a scratch nor make a dent. This reflects my opinion of robust properties of the material used. As was to be read in a review, the black coating of the stainless steel strip has worn out quickly. This I can not confirm. My clock is after 3 years of use in a good condition. Only the coating has anything drawn after nearly 3 years affected. Silver points can be discerned between the individual members of the stainless steel strip, which are due to friction. After 3 years of use of the clock, this is absolutely justified in my view.
For this reason, this clock also receives 5 out of 5 stars from me because it not only looks fabulous, but is also very robust. The purchase of this clock I have not looked back since and therefore they can also highly recommend.
I hope I could you thus gain a good insight and help you in your buying decision.
