CPU temperature after about 60 minutes of play mode:
flat on the desk: 90
angled (rear edge on book) 89
with Avantek cooler: 90
moved with Avantek laptop down to the left: 87
moved with Avantek laptop down to the left, unfolded Avantek feet: 85
The only possibility at all to achieve significant cooling capacity is the laptop, which in the upper right corner draws the air from the bottom to pull a big piece to the bottom left and simultaneously unfold the feet of the cooling pads. Only then is the air intake on the fan of the cooling pads, which is the basic dimensions a good deal smaller than the laptop. Here, the laptop, which no longer stands on the left side with your feet on the pad still has to be fixed otherwise shared, otherwise it will slip away to the left of its own accord. Ever practical only because it uses an external keyboard of mine (and an external monitor).
Summary:
+ On / Off Switch
+ Additional USB port on the device as a substitute for the lost port on the laptop
+ Feet for high points of the pads
+ Quiet
- No measurable cooling performance by cooling the laptop bottom. The fans are far too weak. No difference for superscript at the rear of laptop (with book).
- Hardly measurable cooling performance when the air intake is by moving the laptop on the fan itself.
- Low cooling performance in operation with superscript feet and shifted Laptop (in which case no reasonable use of the laptops is possible even more.
- Blue light not be switched off
Neutral: cooling pad of the base is smaller than the laptop. In my case, a disadvantage, the unit is to be placed centrally, rather beneficial.
Conclusion:
Useless at least for the notebook being used. May be better if the device draws the air used for cooling the CPU elsewhere.
